The Meaning Of Sabbath

As promised. Sabbath.
Now, this word is one of the most beautiful words in the world and though many people have disagreements as to which day of the week this falls on, I am of the opinion that it is on Sunday.
You're not supposed to do much on this day except rest, but I think talking to God and staying at home is just fine for those of you who believe that if you're not at Church every single Sunday without fail you've sinned horribly. Why should you have to do that? My parents told me that hardest day of the week was Sunday when they still went to Church, because they had to get all four of their kids together and cleaned up and dressed properly and by the time they were done, they had barely enough time to get themselves ready and so invariably looked rather unkempt.
Now, the meaning as I see it and meaning the world has given it.
By the looks of it, Sabbath has many meanings, 'seven' being one of them and 'rest' another.
But the supreme meaning is rest, because this is the day that God rested from making the world, so ti would make since that he would name that day and make it holy, hence 'rest'.
Anyway, I think that it means peace and tranquility, love and, of course, rest.
Sabbath.
Such a beautiful word.

The Meaning Of Insipid

Insipid.
Once, I thought that this word meant Idiot. Moron. Nitwit. Etc.
Now, of course, I know that it means Boring.
I still think that it should be used as both a description and an insult, but I've gotten used to the real meaning.
I will not be so foolish as to use it around anyone, thank goodness I only did it once and in the presence of my family, who do not judge me.
I noticed that my sister Hannah (Auther of American Kate!) puts a lot of pctures in her posts and even on the side of her blog, even if they don't really have anything to do with her post or blog.
I belive that I will start do the same as it makes the blog loads more interesting.

The Meaning Of Sarcasm

Sarcasm.
M.U.M.:
A highly developed and sophisticated sense of humor.
Again, my family has this in abundance, though we aren't sarcastic that often.
It doesn't make for very good table conversation.
A.M.:
A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.
This word is one of the greatest in existence.
Soon we will discuss the meaning of the word Sabbath.
I do love that word.

The Meaning Of The Word Parker

Made Up Meaning: (M.U.M.)
Weirdo
Oddball
Nitwit
In other words, my family is the perfect example of the meaning of the word.
In case you didn't guess, our last name is Parker.
Now, the actual meaning.
Actual Meaning: (A.M.)
Keeper of the Park or grounds.
Personally, I like both meanings, but there are those who might not care for it all that much.
To them I say, "Ya boo shucks to you."
(Translation: Get over it. That is also the title of an Eagles song.)
I have done my duty.
